Dermalogia Intensive Moisture Balance

This is my absolute favourite moisturizer, I have been using it for the last 3 years and not only do I love it, but so does my skin. After hitting the big 5-0 I take a lot more care of my skin and realise the importance of a good skin cleansing regime, I only wish I was so wise and thought of anti-aging when I was in my 20s! This cream is particularly good for dry or prematurely- aging skin and brilliant during the transition from summer to winter when your skin needs that extra bit of protection and hydrating in the cold harsh weather. Not only does it help delay wrinkles and aging (it contains vitamins A,C,E which all help our bodies stimulate collagen production!!) but contains Ginko which repairs damaged skin. Equally importantly it doesn’t clog your pores and leaves a soft, moisturised texture on your face, since using this moisturiser I have noticed a real difference with the texture, tone and elasticity of my skin.

Pros:

- a medium/heavy weight cream that maintains skin's moisture balance, not overly rich and leaves no grease.
- it moisturizes and hydrates skin all day long, so perfect for dry skin.
- contains Vitamin A, C, E, Grape seed and Wild Yam
- contains Ginko to help shield against damage of environmental assaults such as wind/sun damage (extreme weather conditions)
- has no artificial fragrance or colour
- Long lasting - a 100ml tube can last up to 3 months

Cons:

- Dermalogica products aren’t exactly cheap, but they are worth every penny
- not suitable for severe acne skin condition or oily skin
